What’s It All Mean?  

• Calyber  has 2 kennel names: Bazinga (Simon Tien Hansen), Lotus (Darci Kunard).  He comes from a unique combination of Pharaoh Hound kennels.
• ‘Journey of Lights’ is the registered name we chose for him based on the  “J” litter theme.  
• GCh = AKC Grand Champion
• DC = Both a CH and an FC. CH =  AKC Conformation Champion – Calyber earned his conformation championship from the bred-by class at just 8 months of age!  FC = AKC Field Champion with just 5 days of field trials, Calyber earned his AKC Field Championship at 16 months of age!
• BIF = AKC Best In Field at 16 months of age.
• LCM = ASFA Field Championship – he finished the same day as his brother Jasper in December 2022 making quick work of the 100 points needed in a mere 9 months.  Then, he racked up 300 points for his Lure Courser of Merit at age 3.
• LCX = AKC Lure Courser Excellent – this is the next title after earning his AKC field championship.  It takes 45 points, with a maximum of 5 points earned per trial.
