What's It All Mean?

  • Cuest has 2 kennel names: Nefer-Temu (Emily Kerridge), Lotus (Darci Kunard).  He comes from an intentional blending of pedigrees that trace back to Joyce Martin of Shema Pharaoh Hounds.
  • 'All The Right Moves' is the registered name we chose for him based on the "Tom Cruise Movies" litter theme, since his sire, Cayman's registered name is Risky Business.
  • DC -  Both a CH and an FC. CH =  AKC Conformation Champion - Cuest earned his conformation championship from the bred-by class.  He became an AKC Field Champion at just 14 months old.
  • SC - This is his first title!  AKC Senior Courser - and his first of many coursing titles to come!
  • FCh - ASFA Field Champion

I met this spitfire at 2 weeks old and there was something that told me he was mine.  I met him again at 6 weeks of age and then brought him home at 9 weeks old.  He was a perfect gentleman on the plane, flying first class in his little sherpa bag and not making a single noise.  From meeting all the "big boys" - he showed his true spirit:

So - why Cuest?  Well, as you can tell I prefer "C" names.  I've had Cuest on my list a long time and it seemed to fit him.  He's on a mission and he knows what he wants.  It may not be what you want, but he can be quite persuasive.

Lure coursing - Cuest was finally able to run his first full course the day before he turned 1!  He ran it with style, and then qualified to run the next day.  So far he's lure coursed in Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, and we're headed to New Mexico and Minnesota next!  He has both his majors in AKC coursing, and just needs a couple of points to finish his AKC field championship.  He's got both 1st placements and 22 points towards his ASFA field championship.

We're looking forward to running at the PHCA National in Auburn, WA and showing, to hopefully finish his show championship too!  He's got both majors and just needs a few points for that title.
