What's It All Mean?  

• Cayper was bred by Simon Tien Hansen, Bazinga Pharaoh Hounds.
• 'Caspian the Crown Prince' is the registered name we chose for him based on the  "C" litter theme.  
• Multi-Group Placing = Cayper has placed in multiple groups at AKC shows
• Multi-BIF = Multiple Best In Fields (lure coursing)
• OH BIS = Best In Show from the Owner Handled Hound Group - 3 times so far!
• GCHB = AKC Grand Champion Bronze Level
• DC = AKC Dual Champion for his conformation (show) and lure coursing championships
• MC = AKC Master Courser
• LCX2 = Lure Courser of Excellence - twice.  45 points after his AKC FC.
• LCM3 = ASFA Lure Courser of Merit - three times!  300 points and 4 1st placement after his FCH.
• CGC = AKC Canine Good Citizen
• VC = Given by the Pharaoh Hound Club of America, the Versatility Title

Cayper is a fantastic, sound mover and quite impressive in the ring.   

Cayper's Career Highlights:

• 2017: Earned Winner's dog and his first show points during the PHCA National weekend in New Jersey.
• 2018: Finished his AKC Conformation Championship February in Arizona, going Best of Breed from the classes over top specials - at 10 months of age.  At the PHCA Western Specialty weekend Cayper earned Best of Opposite and Select Dog.  At 13 months of age, earned his Grand Championship in Utah.  Then, in June, in North Dakota, Cayper earned his first group placement!
• 2018 - at the PHCA National in Kentucky in September, Cayper was awarded Best of Opposite in an impressive line-up of dogs!  Then, in November at a local Colorado show, Cayper was awarded several group placements and an Owner Handled Best in Show!
• 2019 Cayper earned Select Dog at the PHCA Western Specialty and at the PHCA National Specialty in Greeley, Colorado. 
• 2020 Cayper earned a Hound Group 2 and an Owner Handled Best in Show in February in Denver, CO.  He earned a Group 2 and won the owner-handled group twice in Casper, WY.  No specialties this year due to COVID - and very limited showing.  
• 2021 Cayper was Select Dog at the National Specialty in Smithfield, OH and won the Owner-Handled Hound group.  At the Western weekend in Morgan Hills, CA, he won Best of Breed 3 of the 4 days, and 3 Groups 2s!!  At the Eastern in Oaks, PA, he won an Award of Merit at the Eastern and went on to win Owner-Handled Best In Show!  At the Western Specialty in Morgan Hills, CA, Cayper won Best of Breed 3 times at the 3 shows after the specialty...and went on to earn 3 Group 2s!  Then, at the Eastern Specialty, Cayper received an AOM, 2 Owner Handled BOB, a Owner-handled Group 2, 4, and 1... then an Owner-Handled BIS!!

Cayper loves to lure course - but is quite calm and collected when he approaches the start line - even stalking it.  He is power, grace, and speed - with the agility to quickly turn on a dime.

Cayper's Career Highlights:

• 2018: AKC Field Championship at 14 months of age and his first AKC Best in Field (in Utah) and his first ASFA Best in Field (in Colorado.)  He won the PHCA Western Coursing Specialty and 2 more AKC Best in Fields!  He was Best of Breed at the ASFA II.  He earned his AKC LCX (Lure Courser of Excellence.)
• 2018: #1 ASFA Lure Coursing Pharaoh Hound and #2 AKC Lure Coursing Pharaoh Hound.
• 2019: #1 ASFA Lure Coursing Pharaoh Hound and 1 AKC and 2 ASFA Best in Fields.  He earned his ASFA LCM (Lure Courser of Merit.)
• 2020 #1 ASFA Lure Coursing Pharaoh Hound, tying his Dad Cayman's record.  He earned his LCM2.  
• 2021 #1 ASFA Lure Coursing Pharaoh Hound, becoming the only PH to hold this record.  He earned his AKC LCX2.  
• 2022 #1 ASFA Lure Coursing Pharaoh Hound, becoming the only Pharaoh to be #1 for the 5th year in a row!!
